Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Fharquharson as well as Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox took classes in piano, flute and harpsichord at the Royal Academy of Music London for three years during the 70s. Lennox survived off a student's stipend working part-time in order to supplement her earnings. In the Royal Academy Lennox was dissatisfied with her skill in comparison to her fellow students and was contemplating a different route she could take. Lennox played flute with a group called Dragons Playground in 1976. However, she left before the band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent competition New Faces. The singer was lead vocalist for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. They met Dave Stewart, with whom she would form the pop-duo Eurythmics. Lennox was then able to begin work on her debut solo album Diva that was out by 1992. The album was an enormous critical and commercial success. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut solo album, and is a sequel to an art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on the 25th of December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a performer. In the late 70s, she achieved minor fame as part of The Tourists. She and Dave Stewart then gained international notoriety in the 80s under the name Eurythmics. Lennox started her own solo music career in 1992, with her debut album Diva. The album featured a variety of famous songs like Walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa the album she released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks such asNo MoreI I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
